Mid-market investment bank Alantra has recruiter four senior dealmakers for a new team covering the maritime sector as it continues its European hiring spree.

The Madrid-headquartered bank has hired George Giannakis and Nicholas Petrakakos as managing partners to head up its newly-launched maritime and offshore investment banking team, it said in a statement. The new team has four dealmakers and the bank plans a further two hires, it said.
