Alantra poaches new Italy chief executive as hiring spree continues

The mid-market bank has added 30 dealmakers over the past year

Mid-market investment bank Alantra has recruited three senior dealmakers for its Italian operation, continuing an aggressive European hiring spree that has seen around 30 investment bankers join over the past year.

The bank has named Carlo Dawan as chair and chief executive of its Italian investment banking team, where he will lead the unit alongside executive vice chair, Stefano Bellavita.
