Alcara, the new incarnation of the New York-based business information portal Data Downlink, is adding company filings and equity and debt prospectuses to its information service.

The company, headed by financial information veteran Donald Roll, is using Perfect Information's database of three million scanned company reports, accounts, legal filings and prospectuses to provide the information.
