Alchemy weighs £750m exit from nursing homes group

Alchemy Partners has hired Goldman Sachs to consider exit options from Four Seasons Health Care, the UK's largest nursing home chain, through a sale or initial public offering (IPO). The deal could be valued at £750m (€1.01bn).

Jon Moulton, founder of Alchemy, said private equity buyers, property buyers and some trade buyers, had shown interest in the chain of 400 homes. He declined to name any of the bidders, but said first offers were unlikely to come in before January.
