Algorithmics, the risk management software provider headed by Ron Dembo, has secured Robert Fiedler from Deutsche Bank to head a newly formed liquidity risk team.

Liquidity risk is the danger posed by not being able to get in and out of market positions quickly. It exists particularly in investments that are not actively traded. It also makes it hard for companies to raise funds swiftly.
