Allegra Berman, one of the most well-known figures in the European debt markets, has left UBS.

A source familiar with the situation said Berman had left after taking a sabbatical from the Swiss bank. She most recently co-led UBS's DCM business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and the global fixed-income business covering supranational, sovereign and agency issuers.
