Allen departs Kingdon to launch macro fund

Will Allen has left Kingdon Capital Management, the $4bn (€3.7bn) US hedge fund, to set up his own macro hedge fund.

Allen worked at Kingdon for two years and was responsible for the firm's macro strategy.
His new firm, Wood Allen Capital Management, is set to launch its first fund later this year with seed capital from Kingdon.
