Magic Circle law firm Allen & Overy has launched a new hub in Dubai for lawyers transferring from its Moscow office, which it is closing following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Dubai has emerged as a key base for Russia-focused business in the wake of Vladimir Putin’s attack on Ukraine, with banks and law firms transferring staff to the Gulf emirate, and wealthy Russian expats buying up property.
