Allianz Global Investors is considering introducing quotas for the promotion of top female talent, as its current voluntary approach to encouraging women’s advancement is not working quickly enough.

Andreas Utermann, Allianz GI’s chief executive and chief investment officer, told an audience in London this morning that the company has struggled to hit its targets for promoting women.
