Allianz Global Investors’ Deborah Zurkow, one of the most senior women within its ranks, will retire as global head of investments later this year after more than a decade with the asset manager.

Zurkow, who was named in Financial News’s Most Influential Women in European Finance list last year, will remain with the €560bn firm until September. The insurer-owned asset manager said plans to replace Zurkow “are in train”.
