Mohamed El-Erian, the chief economic adviser at Allianz and the former co-chief investment officer of bond giant Pimco, has been elected as the new president of Queens’ College, Cambridge university.
The college announced the appointment of El-Erian, one of the world’s most prominent economic commentators, in a statement on May 28. He will take up the role on October 1, 2020.
