AlpInvest Partners, a Netherland's based investor backed by two of the countries largest pension schemes, is expanding its operations and plans to open a London office by the end of the year as it becomes one of the world's biggest investors in private equity.
The firm has committed €14bn ($19.3bn) over four years to the asset class according to a statement by Volkert Doeksen, managing partner and chief executive officer at AlpInvest.
