The top 10 European investors in private equity have committed almost €100bn ($130bn) between them, with AlpInvest Partners the largest.

The Dutch private equity asset manager manages €30bn in its fund of funds, according to data provider Private Equity Intelligence. That makes it almost double the size of the second-largest investor, Swiss fund of funds manager Capital Dynamics, which has committed €15.4bn.
