The head of alternatives and institutional at Old Mutual Global Investors, part of financial services group Old Mutual, has left the firm.

Donald Pepper, who joined the firm in December 2012, had pioneered new approaches within alternatives, most recently launching a style premia fund at the end of 2016. His remit had been expanded to include an institutional business role.
