Alvarez & Marsal, the professional services firm, has hired Renée Miller-Mizia, Jimmy Pappas, and Elaine Wood as managing directors in its global forensic and dispute services practice, based in Boston and New York. Miller-Mizia has litigation experience in the chemical, oil, and gas sectors, and previously worked at General Electric. Pappas advises on accounting, financial and internal control matters in the context of internal investigations, securities fraud litigation and other matters, and has worked at Deloitte and Ernst & Young. Both will cover the East Coast from the Boston office. Wood will support the firm's business intelligence practice, including working with clients on due diligence and fraud investigations. She was previously a managing director at Kroll.
