Amanda Staveley took stinging criticism in the final hours of her High Court testimony for her “patchy” recollection of events and was accused of a role that amounted to a “hustle” during Barclay’s 2008 emergency fundraising.

The withering remarks from Jeffrey Onions QC came on the sixth day of Staveley being on the stand in the £1.5bn case.
