US rap artist Eminem may be the flavour of the month for young people, but investment banks
prefer their superstars to be less volatile. Deutsche Bank chose UK pop star Robbie Williams for its global equities party last Thursday at Equinox in London's West End. While the party gave the UK singer the opportunity to warm up ahead of an imminent European tour, it was staged in aid of Unicef, for which Williams is an ambassador. Fellow ambassador and former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell was among the guests at the event, which raised £350,000 for Unicef.
