AMF gets tough with Euronext

French regulator the Autorité des Marchés Financiers has taken powers which will force investors in Euronext, the European stock exchange which includes the Paris Bourse, to disclose if they hold more than a 10% stake "directly or indirectly".

Last month, the AMF forced Euronext to admit it had held talks with its German counterpart Deutsche Börse under its new "put up or shut up" regulation.
