Companies rated by fund managers for having market-leading policies and practices on carbon emissions have outperformed their rivals in the six months since Donald Trump was elected US president - despite his sceptical stance on climate change.
The French asset manager Amundi, which put together an index of low-carbon companies in 2014 with the index provider MSCI, says they have outperformed the broader market since launch - and perhaps counterintuitively, since the November 8th US election.
