Amundi’s chief executive, Yves Perrier, is to plough half his €2m bonus into a new charitable fund set up by parent bank Crédit Agricole to combat the outbreak of the deadly virus.

The Solidarity Fund for the Elderly, which has been established in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, aims to raise €20m with contributions from senior Crédit Agricole executives.
