The chief executive of Amundi says he would like the next boss of the French asset manager to be a woman, as the investment industry battles accusations it is run by white males.

Yves Perrier, the long-standing chief executive of the firm, which manages €1.48tn ($1.67tn), revealed his preference when being questioned over why the company has just four women on its executive committee of 26 people.
