Amundi is to cut Pioneer Investments from BlackRock's 'Aladdin' technology platform due to concerns Europe's biggest asset manager has about using a rival's IT system.

The French fund management company, which completed its €3.5bn acquisition of Pioneer Investments from Italy's UniCredit earlier this month, is in the process of uncoupling the Italian asset manager's IT systems from BlackRock due to what it calls "competition issues".
