Mutual funds run by units of Amvescap's in the US have received mostly a grade "F" for corporate governance according to a new ratings system issued by fund tracker Morningstar.

Morningstar has already assigned letter grades from A (best) to F (worst) to 500 of the largest mutual funds and several hundred of the lesser known.
