Analysts are warming to Deutsche Telekom, the German telecoms firm, as it emerges relatively unscathed from a rocky week at the hands of the international ratings agencies.
Felix Kaiser, in telecom credit research at Goldman Sachs, said: "We think the credit outlook for Deutsche Telekom is now relatively benign. Deutsche Telekom has now got its ratings uncertainty out of the way, although it is still on a negative outlook at the agencies. We think that, unless there is a dislocation in the worldwide equities markets, their ratings will be good into next year."
