Andersen Legal has hired Ulrich Goebel, a former chief legal adviser at DaimlerChrysler Aerospace, to head the firm's Munich corporate and mergers and acquisitions department.

Goebel joins Andersen Luther, which is the German arm of Andersen Legal, as a partner. There are now 20 lawyers specialising in M&A, corporate law and copymark and trademark law at Andersen Luther in Munich. According to Stefan Kraus, managing partner of Andersen Luther, the expansion of the Munich office has yet to be completed.
