Andrea Orcel is still embroiled in an ongoing investigation by the UK financial regulator into UBS’s handling of a rape allegation, despite leaving the Swiss bank in September.

The former head of UBS’s investment bank remains answerable to the Financial Conduct Authority and its probe into the alleged rape of a female former graduate trainee at the bank by a senior director, according to two people familiar with the matter.
