Andrew November picked as Widows' global head

Andrew November has been appointed as head of global strategy for the combined asset management business created by the merger of Scottish Widows Investment Management and Hill Samuel Asset Management.

November, who is currently the director of global strategy at Hill Samuel, will be responsible for the asset allocation process, global equity products and global sector research of the combined business, which will have over £90bn in assets under management when the merger is completed in June.
