Adrian Swales has made his first high profile senior appointment at Aon Consulting with the addition of Alvar Chambers to his investment consulting team.

Chambers will join Aon from rival UK actuarial consultancy Bacon & Woodrow in two months' time. While at Bacon he spent a number of years working with European clients and on technical issues and it is his technical ability that particularly attracted Aon's interest.
