Aon Consulting, the investment advisory arm of Aon, the US reinsurance giant, is creating a global investment manager research unit in anticipation of a surge in its international businesses.

The new research unit will coordinate Aon Consulting's separate businesses and involve offices in the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia.
