Aon Consulting, a pensions and HR consulting firm, has merged its UK actuarial and investment teams, going against the trend of establishing a clear separation between the two activities.

The new unit, called Financial Risk Consulting, is composed of 250 personnel and is led by Iain Brown, who was previously a client relationship director at Aon Consulting.
