Apax names co-heads for renewed India push

Apax Partners has appointed two leaders for its office in India in a move the firm said demonstrated its commitment to the country, where it has completed just one deal since establishing a presence three years ago.

The UK buyout house has promoted Sandeep Naik and Shashank Singh as co-heads of its business in India. The duo replaces Neeraj Bharadwaj, who has left to join US venture capital firm Accel Partners in India.
