Private equity firm Apollo Global Management is preparing to float home security firm ADT, in what could be one of the largest IPOs of the year, write Maureen Farrell, Dana Mattioli and Matt Jarzemsky for The Wall Street Journal.

Apollo could file paperwork for the initial public offering with the US Securities and Exchange Commission by the autumn and list the firm towards the end of the year, people familiar with the matter told the Journal.
