Ken Costa, the veteran City banker employed by the UK government to help lure the lucrative public listing of Saudi Aramco to London, says the oil giant could resume its plans to float as early as next year.

The former UBS and Lazard dealmaker told Financial News that investor demand for Aramco remains strong, despite Saudi having shelved the partial initial public offering and its advisers being engaged in other projects.
