Private bank Arbuthnot Latham has hired a former Coutts senior banker to cover the media and entertainment industries, as competitors jostle to attract high-earning clients from these professions.

Richard Kay joins Arbuthnot Latham having spent more than 26 years with Coutts, where he was one of the founding bankers of the firm's sports and entertainment team, specialising in music, television, film and theatre.
