Arbuthnot Securities, the boutique investment bank, has parted company with two senior directors and is preparing to make up to 20% redundant next month.

Mark Brown, chief executive at Arbuthnot, confirmed that Paul Havranek, head of research, and Nick Redfern, head of sales, had left the firm to pursue "other interests".
