Private credit giant Ares Management has opened an office in Milan as it looks to woo wealthy investors flocking to the region.

The $546bn global alternatives manager said its new Italian hub will “enhance” its access to the Italian market and its ability to raise and invest capital across its European direct lending, wealth management and real estate businesses.
