Armstrong takes over at Morgan Stanley wealth

Morgan Stanley is pulling together its private wealth management arm under a single global leader and has promoted the head of the division's capital markets group, Michael Armstrong, to run it.

Armstrong will take charge of Morgan Stanley's private wealth operations in North America, Latin America, Europe and the Middle East, and Asia, according to an internal staff memo from James Gorman, global head of the wealth management group.
