Private equity’s bet on multi-club football ownership is frustrating fans and causing potential conflicts of interest, former Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger has warned.

The football veteran has voiced concerns over multi-club ownership, an increasingly popular business model among investors who are buying multiple teams across several countries to diversify their risk and spread young talent across a network.
