Sarah Butcher takes time out for an image makeover but feels ill-at-ease as a symbol of investment banking power

There are two kinds of people: those who pluck their eyebrows and those who don't. But the facially hirsute can be disadvantaged in the clean-shaven world of international financial services.

This is the advice of image consultant Laurel Herman. According to Herman, hair sprouting from noses and ears is out, as are beards and stubble. Wild eyebrows are a definite liability.
