Ashmore, the London-listed specialist emerging markets manager, is on the cusp of breaking through the $70bn mark for assets under management for the first time in more than three years.
Until 2017, Ashmore, which has long been seen as a bellwether for investor sentiment towards emerging market economies, had not posted a single quarter of net inflows since the three months to June 30, 2014. The firm's assets under management last topped the $70bn level at a quarter end in September that year.
