Asia Pacific companies dominate ECM surge

The US market share of global equity capital market activity for the year to date is at a record low, according to new data, with just two of the 20 largest deals deriving from US issuers, as Asia Pacific continues to dominate the global ECM landscape.

Global ECM volume stands at $77.1bn (€56.5bn) year to date, 2010, according to data provider Dealogic, almost three times higher than the figure for last year, and the second highest volume on record for the period.
