Credit Suisse has snared a team of three from UBS as it builds its presence in the region but also lost a senior Asian private banker in Hong Kong over the weekend.

Credit Suisse has hired François Monnet as head of private banking in Southeast Asia from its Swiss competitor, where he led the offshore private client operations. He is based in Singapore and starts on September 1.
