Aspect Capital, one of Europe's largest hedge fund managers with $4bn (€3bn) under management, has added two as part of a projected 20% increase in staffing levels this year.

The hiring of Roman Pelka and Dominic Steel bring Aspect's staffing to 90, from 84 at the start of the year. Alastair Smith, Aspect's sales and marketing director, said: "We aim to end the year with at least 100 people. Actually, we're growing faster than we expected."
