Further delays to the City regulator's ESG disclosure rules could end up costing asset managers that are waiting on clarity from the watchdog to greenlight product launches.

Buried in a regulatory update on 17 July, the Financial Conduct Authority said a policy statement for its green fund labelling regime would be published at the end of 2023 instead of the third quarter as previously signposted.
