Human resources executives from some of the City's biggest fund managers, including BlackRock, Schroders and Janus Henderson, will meet this week as part of a push to convince the government to tweak its rules on immigration after Brexit.

The initiative is being orchestrated by the Investment Association, the trade body for UK fund managers, and comes as the City increases efforts to lobby Westminster for clarity on its deal for exiting the European Union in 2019.
