The UK's asset managers have been warned to expect yearly headaches as they try to comply with new rules forcing them to conduct annual reviews of the value they provide investors.

The new value assessments have been waved in as part of a policy statement published by the Financial Conduct Authority on April 5, which took forward its landmark 2017 review of the UK's £7tn investment sector.
