Private equity firms own stakes in 132 German companies that are ready to float, according to a survey from the country's venture capital association.
BVK, which represents German venture capital and private equity companies and foreign venture capitalists operating in Germany, surveyed 111 of its members. Half the respondents â 56 firms â said they had at least one company that was ready for an initial public offering.
