Atlas Venture, the international venture capital firm, has hired Stéphane Bacquaert to head the firm's telecoms sector team in France.

Bacquaert was previously managing director and a board member at NetsCapital, an investment bank specialised in the technology, media and telecoms sectors. He led a team of bankers and consultants in a corporate finance role, advising on private placements, initial public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
