Denmark's 705 billion Danish kroner ($108 billion) national pension fund, which was in May recognised for 20 years of excellence in institutional investing, has a new man in charge of its investments.

ATP has appointed Kasper Ahrndt Lorenzen, head of its liquid markets division, as chief investment officer, according to a statement on June 2. Lorenzen is replacing Henrik Gade Jepsen, who departs after more than five years in the role.
