ATP to diversify €27bn fund into the US

ATP, the largest pension fund in Denmark, will start investing in US mortgage-backed bonds for the first time by the end of the year in an effort to diversify its €27bn ($34bn) fixed-income portfolio.

It currently invests more than half of its fixed-income portfolio in European and US government bonds. Total assets under management are estimated at €37bn.
